Boomers in 1968: Let's buy this house.
Their kids in 2021: Can I put this pizza on lay away?
Not being able to buy a house because your pizza debt ruined your credit score
Can't wait for the economy to collapse when the pizza-debt-backed-securities bubble pops
Watch Biden’s longest contribution being a bill where you can’t discharge your pizza debt. :dem:
Just got off the phone with my loan officer and they said I can only afford one topping tonight :deeper-sadness:
And I heard a voice from among the four corporations say, "A pizza will sell for six weeks of wages, and do not destroy the box it came in, for that shall be your new home."
Under communism, people can't even afford something as basic as a pizza
I bet it's like a credit card but with insane fees, extra charges, etc that are totally unregulated.
I looked into this the last time I saw Zilch mentioned, as the Afterpay one used by Amazon does work like that. Apparently Zilch only takes a cut from the merchant and doesn't have fuck-fuck fees. If you miss a payment they'll lock you out of the service but that seems to be it. This scares the shit out of me in the sense of building a general consumer debt over what should be the most basic thing a person can afford, but this specific service isn't doing the more parasitic and vicious version of the model.
I bet it’s like a credit card but with insane fees, extra charges, etc that are totally unregulated.
I think you mean innovative and disrupting the market.
Consumer debt crisis deepening to actually INSANE levels. Imagine a debtors prison full of people who owe incredible amounts of money for food
When does it end?
checking my credit score to see if they'll lend me enough for stuffed crust
Is this a fucking app that works on the same lines as "debt consolidation" firms just for small food transactions?
Fucking incredible innovation coming out of Silicon Valley
Sorry m8 I can't pay rent bcuz I gotta pay off the bread, tomatoes and the processed fat
Breaking Bad 2 except it's now about Michelangelo having to cook meth to cover the turtle's pizza debt.
