Pretty much, it's a split between 3 chuds who think it's going to make you sterile or something, and 2 POC guys who are convinced they're gonna get Tuskegee'd.
Like, they all think vaccines work. But this one is nefarious.
What a hell of a way to die had an episode talking about this recently, It was specifically related to the military but they know it's a political thing and they don't care (most of them anyway)
I got SO MANY fucking shots in the military. I’m basic and before my deployments you get jabbed a fuck ton. So that makes no sense to me about them freaking out. Literally everything you interact with will either cause cancer or lead to mental health issues.
I get that this isn’t a “vaccine” but why would you still not want to protect yourself from something new that has never effected humans before. We can argue about how helpful a flu shot is, but those aren’t the same as this one.
Their paranoia is greater than their sense of self preservation. A "I'll take my chances" attitude, combined with burnout.
Like, shit, I'm burned out. Past any illusion I'm making a difference on a daily basis. The obvious decay of the system over the pandemic is doing weird shit to people. One hospital I know is dangerously close to violating EMTALA rn cause the nurses are just saying "Fuck it. It never ends, it's broken, has been broken, and will not be fixed."
Would be ripe for labor organizing if they weren't all mostly grill libs or already convinced unions are illegal or something.

note that technically it refers back to another source https://philpapers.org/rec/BROPFC but I digged into it and it only does so for a small part of the overall concept expressed by the quote
Is it just because how heavily politicized this entire pandemic has been?

But not the vaccine!

that quote is an evergreen "Resistance becomes the refusal to perform a specific behaviour that instantiates a particular representation or identity"
