Pretty good object work. Could improve the scene by fiddling with his microphone, or picking up and setting down a glass of water on the podium. Of course the real test will be when he walks away from it and later distractedly runs into it. That's hard to pull off, as it depends on nailing exactly the right spot of stage without looking, but done well it's a reliable laugh and a great way to close the scene.
