    I think there's an ongoing op on reddit to distance black and Chinese people from each other (not that these demographics use reddit much). I remember on r/movies it was constantly brought up that Chinese people are racist towards black people and that's why X thing about a movie.

      lol, :reddit-logo: mayos like to say "look, Chinese people are just as racist as white Americans!" When it is, in fact, "look, the vast majority of Chinese people have never met a black person in their life" (in the case of Chinese people in China, of course).

          It's always important to remember that the definition of "white" is always changing, and that it doesn't actually mean a whole lot other than as a social construct.

          But yeah, I'm discussing it in the context that Redditor types like those in that thread usually do.
