We need more Leninist teachers, folks.

I'm not sure what the image quality is like but the relevant section reads: "In communist Russia in the early part of last century Lenin said: "Give me one generation of youth and I'll transform the world." Obviously a lone schoolteacher in the Hunter Valley is a devotee of Lenin. The school had to rein in the teacher who decided it would be a good idea to go away from the curriculum and lead Year 7 down the path of a one-sided view of the BLM protests. Outraged parents had it stopped."

This gem comes courtesy from todays edition of Murdoch rag The Daily Telegraph. It even includes an extra bit complaining about cancel culture - gotta love the idea that a few people complaining on twitter or whatever will "tear our country apart".

(also this might be better suited for The Dunk Tank, idk)

I found the article that this referring to and it's just the most innocuous shit. I'm not sure what the best way to post the image is so I'll just transcribe the most relevant parts:

"High school students are being taught about Black Lives Matter protests in English classes, including studying quotes from a Greens MP promoting the protests, prompting criticism the schools have contravened a departmental policy of "neutrality". The lesson, titled "Black Lives Matter rallies held across Australia to protest against mistreatment and deaths of Indigenous People", was taught to Year 7 students at Maitland High School last week. […] It stated that "NSW Greens MP David Shoebridge announced the success of the (legal) appeal to the resounding cheers of the crowd". It then goes on to quote him saying winning the legal appeal to enable the rally was a moment of "fighting the system" that has been in place "against First Nations people for centuries". But Mr Latham describes the lesson, which also required students to describe racial profiling, as "indoctrination". […] The lesson also includes an anecdote from an Indigenous protester about constantly being watched by police. "This is an unfair attack on police, there's nothing from the police giving their side of the story," Mr Latham said."

Edit: The Mr Latham here is right-wing (obviously) politician Mark Latham.
