If you want to get your Hexie this year you gotta post good quality posts. Why not start now? Today? Like right now? Go post a good post and then keep posting good posts all year and then maybe you too can earn your Hexie. You've got like 363 days of posting to get everyone's attention so make them count and post quality.

I'm too busy. Posting on the Internet is how I relax, but I don't always have the time to make posts that have pitch-perfect quality or whatever; that's why some of my posts are kinda terse.
I have to finish university and I do organizing IRL, among other things.
I can't always be here.
Some days, I'll be fine and have time. Others, not so much.
I don't think that's how it works, I made the best posts this website has ever seen last year and didn't get any recognition. The owl mafia has the hexies rigged.
I'm just going to keep doing what I do and hope they come out with a "worst poster" award
Why waste the good posts now when Hexie nominations don't come until Hexie season in December? By that time nobody will remember your posts from the first 10 months of the year.
Personally I'm looking forward to the onslaught of great quality posts next November and December. But don't fall into the trap of focuses on US electoral politics!
Start good habits now and it'll be second nature come November / December!
Have the confidence that everyone wants to see your bad posts and post them to this comm instead!
