Go post a good post and then keep posting good posts all year and then maybe you too can earn your Hexie. You've got like 363 days of posting to get everyone's attention so make them count and post quality.

Why waste the good posts now when Hexie nominations don't come until Hexie season in December? By that time nobody will remember your posts from the first 10 months of the year.
Personally I'm looking forward to the onslaught of great quality posts next November and December. But don't fall into the trap of focuses on US electoral politics!
