What happens when a country runs out of spices? It becomes barren. Check the stars. You're all kidding yourselves.
Usul was a Fremen word meaning "the strength of the base of the pillar"
were Al Queda Dune nerds?
I have not visited since before covid but every 200 feet seemed to be a curry shop last time I was in the UK.
ehh. we have a pretty secure source of spice. Why gamble trying to take direct control over it, when we can just follow the safe path and keep prospering as we have been under the fair and reasonable terms we've received?
Speaking of spice, has anyone ever tried tripping by consuming a large amount of nutmeg? It sounds bad to me from what I've read.
Yeah, it wasn't nice felt like being stoned and ill, btw if you're going to do it you need whole nutmeg not nutmeg powder but to be honest if you wanna a deliriant trip do diphenhydramine(can be found in OTC sleeping pills) it's slightly more pleasant imo. wouldn't super recommend any deliriant though it's the kind of thing you only try once or twice
Thanks for the info, comrade! I remember reading about "nutmegging" on erowid.org, but I don't trust that site all the time.
I think DPH literally causes brain damage in high doses. It left me feeling foggy for days.
probably, anyone planning on doing should research dosage etc on erowid or whatever
a more psychoactively adventurous friend of mine did it back in our heydays. he said it was unequivocally a bad time. so bad that he brings it up decades later. just the other day he told me that making sure people don't try to trip on nutmeg is like one of the 2-3 things he has to offer society.
