I'm just old enough and internet poisoned enough to remember when that was something right wingers were saying ss a joke about those crazy sjws talking about the male gaze. I saw so many variations of "Check your privilege shitlord, you're eye-raping me" that I started to mentally tune it out, it was ubiquitous for a while, you know how they are when they get a "new" joke. The joke being "haha, look at these triggered snowflakes who think everything is sexual assault, they'll do anything to make themselves victims, what crybullies (but also sexual assault is low key cool and based as long as it's done by a white guy)."
And then I grew up and started hanging out in better spaces with better people, and never again thought of that gross bullshit until now, when I learned that it is now the Isreali propaganda line

Every time people like Eve Fartlow say something it does give me that vibe too. They use progressive sounding rhetoric and social justice lingo to defend settler colonialism
