My wife and I have been taking change off headstones for a few years now. There's a place we like to go on a day trip to that has an old cemetery or two. We clean them out and then get a beer with it in town.
On memorial day restaurants will give veterans/soldiers reduced for free food, some ask for discharge papers/military id (DD-214, and your average worker even at the VA barely knows how to read it anyway), others not so much. So, a meal to go with a few bucks if anyone's hard up.
