Remember the rules; in particular, this comm is for vegans only. Feel free to discuss anything from beans :bean: to your undying and eternal hatred for carnists. :frog-no-pretext:
:vegan-edge: Veganism isn't a diet, it's about animal liberation.
Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose

Love my family and I hope that I'm making them realizing that veganism is cool and good. Question brought up twice on the issue of eating non fertilized :chicken-bop: eggs and I brought up animal exploitation :vegan-liberation-rad:. That how under capitalism their idea of chickens being taken care of in exchange for eggs is just a fantasy. They live in horrible conditions and when can no longer be exploited are slaughtered for their bodies. Told them I can't support that and the uncomfortableness seems something hard for them to ignore.
Guess that through these conversations more and more my solidarity with animals builds :vegan-liberation: under capitalism our worth is dictated solely on what and how much we produce and when we are no longer able to we're killed through neglect or negligence :kitty-cri-texas: feels bad.
