Three person were banned from Zizek’s Conference. Person 1: “They said it’s because I supported Zizek.” Person 2: “They said it’s because I opposed Zizek.” Person 3: “Because I am Zizek.”

Just playing this thought out, it's not necessarily my actual view but an interesting experiment:
Will capitalism ultimately be just a passage from lower to higher stage of feudalism or will it be a passage from feudalism to socialism.
Taking this to its logical conclusion (assuming we don't climate kill ourselves before it plays out further and further) then I would surmise that higher stage feudalism would again eventually culminate in revolutions the same way lower stage feudalism culminated in the revolutions that brought about capitalism.
What would higher stage feudalism revolutions against the modern neo-feudal rulers of these corporate giants look like?
He ends up kind of landing on "China made mistakes and then retreated a bit from their initial victories - but don't confuse that with failure, and don't confuse the heights they've reached with victory, since the revolutionary process by its nature requires a lot of failing and starting over", and as the other poster said that's just one aspect of the piece.

Dare to think a little more complexly. This is really broader than China. And if any criticism of China is permissible, this is a great example of exploring where its policy and actions fit within the engine of history and what they might produce.
