My thousands upon thousands of hours in milsims makes it easier. It's so bizzare, all the mechanics are cartoonist and "unrealistic", yet it all clicks together in such a way real life concepts apply perfectly. I've literally never played a game where armor and infantry naturally coordinate as smoothly and naturally as in Foxhole, and it's not even a sim.
If you wanna have fun, comms are key. If you don't know what's going on, ask. If nobody knows, tell people what you know. If nobody has a plan, make a plan and get people to follow it and modify it. There is no such thing as playing alone or staying out of the way. Never wait for something to happen, make things happen or join what is already going on.
