Why's life got to be the way it is :/

I'm tired of this rat race I didnt ask to put in. My childhood was robbed; and life rn is just an endless cycle of wake up -> work -> sleep -> rinse and repeat. Ugh I just want to be happy and content man.

I'm not suicidal or anything, just feeling kinda down rn

this resonates with me a lot. i kind of had a shit childhood (single parent + a lot of other factors) and it's infuriating seeing kids with connections easily get internships and jobs. not to mention the support system provided by a stable double parent system.

You know, I really fucking hate it when people say shit like this here. Like there's just loads of people out there expending valuable brainpower in wanting to see le epic Chapo posters fail at life because they have certain beliefs, when everybody knows no one even thinks about it in these terms.

Yeah, fair. I don't think people are out there hating on people who are leftists IRL a lot more than say, libs or conservatives, but you're right that this exists.

I think what he meant by leftists is people who weren't lucky enough to be born to well off parents, or people who weren't dealt a good hand in life in general.

The average person born to well off parents isnt going to be a leftist lol. Working class solidarity is much needed. Plus it's kinda pedantic to take things at exact face value.

Yeah, I definitely don't think that's a natural interpretation of what was being said and I don't think I was being pedantic in interpreting it the way I did.

I understood what he was trying to say, so let's agree to disagree I suppose
