Kaiji is a trip. Every scene has this insane intensity to it that you might only find at the peak of any other normal show. Every action has these crazy consequences that just keep compounding on each other until you feel the despair and treachery that come with each of the characters. My only complaint about it is that it was never fully adapted (also the manga switches to Mahjong instead of easy to explain instances). Would definitely recommend anyone take this show up.
