Not sure what you are being bothered by? What is there to be bothered about?
Communists do not define class by income, but by their relation to the production process. Someone making $200k a year as an oil rig engineer or a software developer in a startup is a worker. Someone making $50k a year as a self-employed/small business owner/landlord etc is a member of the petit bourgeois. Therefore, some millionaires are workers, others bourg or petit-bourg.
This distinction between classes serves as a useful tool to determine potential allies and enemies. But to see if if INDIVIDUAL persons are enemies or friends, you have to look at their actions and their professed ideas.
Class isn't a binary thing, there's such a thing as labor aristocracy. Workers in the US are gonna have less incentive to overthrow capitalism than workers in the global south because we have access to the spoils of exploitative supply chains that they don't. Same as a multi-millionaire actor/athlete has less incentive than a worker in the US making 20k a year. Also, just because you are a worker doesn't mean you can't horde wealth, or that people shouldn't question your commitment to socialism. Drove me fucking nuts when people were acting like it's taboo to question whether Hasan Piker is hoarding wealth when he makes more in a year than most people make in their entire lives.
