I'd keep an eye on death rates. We've already given up on the idea that the vaccine prevents infection, but what if there's no impact on deaths too in regard to whatever strain is burning through Europe?

Well said, also there's that whole reserve population in the third world who we don't even bother making vaccines for. So even if we got vaccination rates right at home, we'd still be fucking up.
