      keep in mind we are talking about the soviet system, there is an ontological difference with capitalist systems wherein you're not forced into internal contradictions, so you wouldn't have just a drive to put down the system, it would have to be something you notice at least somewhat consciously and decide to oppose even if it doesn't affect you and you can't affect it (relatedly capitalism is always changing so you would not have the same impression as with soviet stability on what you can change)
