Such is liberalism. “A few bad apples...we need to get rid of Trump...etc.” Their whole worldview centers on the idea that the system is fine and that the removal of bad actors fixes it. If you cannot analyze the systems that lead to failure, then there must be a hyper focus on the actors. Thus, these cults of personality form. They have no agency in the handling of their society. They must depend on the actors to change the system for them. It is helplessness. It is infantile. That’s where you get this stupid fucking bullshit where Twitter feuds decide the fate of their fucking worlds or some shit. Literally not reality. Liberalism really is mental conditioning

For what it's worth, the vast majority of liberals are not nearly as indoctrinated into the cult type shit as the fuck heads you see on Twitter. They're just normal people who just are broadly speaking not interested in major change and vote accordingly.
