It isn't the only one. It's intention is to mischaracterize BDS and make readers think to participate in BDS is to submit yourself to endless abstention from the niceties of life.

From their "About" page:

BDSGuide is a comprehensive list of companies and products one would have to boycott to actually boycott the Jewish state. We provide the most complete list on the internet of companies and products one would have to avoid if boycotting Israel. It serves two functions. First it exposes the hypocrisy of BDS supporters building websites using Wix, an Israeli web service. They create Facebook pages to spread the word even though Facebook has R&D offices in Israel. If you are calling for a boycott, you should follow through on it yourself. The list of companies one has to avoid would make it impossible to navigate in the modern world but it’s a small price to pay if you’re really committed to your cause, right?

BDSGuide also serves to give supporters of Israel a guide to buy from companies that support Israel in one way or another.

I'm sure everyone already knows about shit like this but I'm late to the party.

Unrelated: does anyone know how DDOS attacks work?

the user agent thing is kinda funny though, if you use a firefox+windows user agent it goes "Microsoft supports Israel" but if you use firefox+linux user agent it goes "Intel supports Israel" (even if you have an AMD CPU i think)

edit: with Chrome+Windows it goes "Microsoft AND Google support Israel". with Safari, it goes Apple supports Israel. with Firefox+Android it goes "Android is a Google service".

damn i guess amd users are the real pogs. Also "Microsoft supports Israel" might not be the best ad for Israel... but I guess it's a specific type of person who would stumble onto this website and be convinced by it.

DDoS is pretty simple in theory. You get a bunch of network endpoints and send masses of data / requests at some servers (the website you don't like) from them.

Getting those endpoints is usually done by installing viruses on windows computers, i.e. shady shit.

      installing viruses on windows computers

Not true anymore! Now we install them on smart televisions, smart refridgerators, smart toasters and smart lightbulbs. Smart things!

There's a shit load of easy targets now and they will stay easy targets until widescale security regulations catchup mandating required levels of security in these products.

Also, to people who thinks that Israel rules the world (which accounts to 90% of the Islamic world), this is basically a :yes-chad: moment for them.

I stumbled upon this site before and I browsed the list before realizing it was an op and basically it was "you like to consume modern products, yet you don't like Israel hmm"

This probably has 0 mass appeal though lol (hopefully)

This is literally :very-intelligent:, I mean exactly like the original comic.

edit: also this site is seriously reaching in filling its list. I checked out their link to Huawei and:

    Monday 28 June 04

Huawei Technologies, a Chinese communications infrastructure company, is setting up a representative office in Israel to scout for investment and sales opportunities
