I guess I'm just basing my thoughts about what is going on now, but the window is closing on any policy wins.
The Republicans still seem able to drum up voter motivation and are likely going to take back congress in the midterms meaning nothing will happen in the back half of Bidens term. I just can't see either of them making a convincing case off the heels of a bad presidency. They'll have the baggage of the previous president but none of the benefit that being an incumbent brings.
A lot of us thought Biden didn't have a chance either, but then he won
