This is emblematic of the problem faced by people who go "purely by the stats." They say some dumb shit and think everybody's being unreasonable. Then suddenly nobody listens to them and they're like "this world is so fucked because people like me can't get ahead, it's literally idiocracy." Then they start crying because they're overwhelmed and think it's out of their control because numbers don't lie but it is in their control to stop being so insufferable and open up to the idea that humanities can be... le good!
