"Stuck in the 400's" has this kind of implication of negative, dehumanizing primitiveness that doesn't sit right with me. Yes, they've done some bad very things that run counter to the development of socialism in the area, but it's better to criticize them for that specifically as opposed writing them off as uncivilized, which has a racist undertone. I don't mean to start any struggle, maybe I'm wrong. I just thought I'd say something.
