    Normally they would try to hide this thing by keeping it under 50 people per 30 days (layoff reporting law) and slowly turn the whole company into a toxic pit so more people quit on their own.

      If I've learned anything from the r/antiwork sub taking off, it's that you should never quit voluntarily because it's usually a strategy for them to avoid having to pay out unemployment to you, and that you can still pursue something called constructive discharge if they make intolerable changes to try to get you to quit rather than just firing
