Curious what everyone's top genres are here's mine

Never thought I would consider myself a pop fan but pretty happy with mine I feel like it's pretty accurate. :cat-vibing:

Edit: Post your artists and songs too if ya like!

lmao is that graphic real? What designer thought stuffing the genre names into the bars of the graph was a good idea?

I know its doing some kind of facebook style brain sorcery on me to keep subscribing but I love this dumb shit.

Honestly Spotify gives me some good song recommends and I end up finding new artists all the time, makes me feel it's worth subscribing to avoid the ads

Some Gecs, Clarence Clarity, Dorian Electra, and Kitty of course. Newer to the genre tbh and looking for more good stuff.

well, i absolutely love food house, fraxiom, and dltzk. dltzk's newer album is cool rock influenced stuff but their first one is good emo hyperpop or something. also charli xcx - how im feeling now.

My top band was 'Banning the Bomb'. A user posted on here a while back about putting their music up on spotify. I liked it, and then would put the album on repeat whenever I was out away from my computer so that they would get a couple of cents.

inaccurate because i do 99% of my listening in Bandcamp or YouTube Music (which is garbage compared to Google Music)

My own listening habits were dwarfed by my children, who both listen to Spotify while they do homework. So mine is just the Sans Undertale soundtrack, and Dance Monkey.

I think you only get the fancy video thing I took the screenshots of if you are premium but not positive. You should still have a thing in the app that says "your 2021 wrapped is here" if this article is correct.

If it looks like stuff you listen to you are prob in the right spot.

I was in the top 0.5% of Enya listeners this year lol. Honestly if I had to pick one artist only for the rest of my life it would probably be her

And fuck yeah RTJ. Killer Mike might be a landlord but the music itself is its own thing. Some real radical energy.. I actually branched out this year more into the solo work El-P did before RTJ and it's gold. All his old Def Jux label stuff. His albums I'll Sleep When You're Dead and Cancer 4 Cure are dope

Is ska making a comeback? I fondly remember going to see Less Than Jake, Streetlight, Reel Big Fish and the Bosstones back in the day. Come to think of it I think most of my concerts have been Ska 🤔
