    Isn't it weird that they use Trotsky's birth name instead of his chosen name there? Like, leaving aside the fact that revolutionary names were a strategic necessity, they were also the names these people chose. Sure, Trotsky probably selected his revolutionary name in part because of the issue of antisemitism, but particularly using "Lev Trotsky" is bizarre. I can see "Lev Bronstein" if you absolutely have to use his birth name, but you're not going to do that because people know who Leon Trotsky is, not Lev Bronstein. Choosing to use the naming structure they do is just weird.
