Recently got banned for rule 1 after I called a guy a cracker. Appealed it explaining the context and they denied the appeal. But it turns out that nazi who doxed my IP address didn't do anything wrong, and neither did the two open pedophile accounts pushing racism. They sure as hell did a good job cleaning up house of leftists, though!

There's no justification: it's a white supremacy platform which protects fascists and pedophiles while repressing leftists.

Crazy how any platform that fascists loudly complains of being biased against them; twitter, discord, reddit, youtube; are in reality de facto controlled by them.

Love it when white people get all up in arms about racism when someone uses the terms "cracker" or "honkey" as if white people face actual systematic racism fucking anywhere.

Those words don't fucking mean anything, and if you honestly think you're a victim of racism for them, I hope to Lenin you get some perspective once in your honkey cracker life.

Makes sense. Instagram is owned by Facebook and Facebook literally funds far right death squads.

I want so bad to switch over to mastodon but it's such an intimidating process.

Honestly, Mastodon is not significantly better. Same design = same incentives. There are a lot fewer CHUDs, but the clout-chasing PMC anti-communist radlibs take up the slack.

Just get off of social media. Use nitter or fritter to follow twitter dunk links read-only.

With all due respect, I don't think that's possible. I already have trouble filling the day as is, I don't need to be limiting my options more than I already have.

I've noticed. I check in with several pages to see what's going on around the area. And in the last week so so many accounts are locked, shuttered or absent. It is unsettling.

A similar thing is happening on reddit too. They're cracking down on left voices really hard, and it shows. Meanwhile they let nazis and pedophiles run wild. Hmmm...

I got banned after someone posted a building in Gaza being bombed and laughing at it and I told them to "stop killing babies."

They won't give my account back. And I have no idea how they keep figuring out I'm ban evading. I've used a VPN, different browsers, and a virtual machine, but they detect it every time. Kinda sus.

Check your system registry and browser cookies, they might have hidden something in there. All they need is a single piece of evidence to realize you're evading.

I have no idea why more people aren’t using Mastodon, given how good it is. It’s better than Twitter in almost every way, just not as many people use it.

For me it's really intimidating. Like it feels like I have no idea what's going on. Takes a long time to set up and the entire process is really unintuitive.

I'm a 1337 H@x0R and this shit is hard for me to figure out. How do you think the average person is going to think? Say what you will about Twidder, it's easy as shit to get going and find connections.

I thought signing up for mastodon.social was relatively easy. Setting up your own instance is a different story, but very few people will need to worry about that.

Most social media sites are either fascist or fascist collaborators. They will ban anyone who isn't "civil" but will rarely ban actual fascists.

I got banned from twitter for insulting a terf and for insulting Caitlyn Jenner.

"detect word, word bad" is much cheaper than identifying what that piece of shit did
