    If an Amazon union is ever formed it is likely to be the closest thing America has to a full-on proletarian party just due to the opposition it would have to endure.

          In all honesty the IWW does still exist but their organizing was greatly impacted by events before and especially after WWII in which McCarthyism pretty much dismantled any militant organizers sympathetic to socialism. The Teamsters n contrast are a still active and powerful union that can flex it's strength to get the goods when needed.
