No right or wrong answers, genuinely curious as to what people consider to be "normie" since my friend and I were discussing it earlier.

    one of the people in one of my friend groups is an upper-middle class white guy, not depressed, completely lib brained, makes like 80-100k and just wants to talk about cars.
    I would say he is a normie, or atleast we call him that, he still understands online shit to some extent so I guess he is on the spectrum.
    edit: on the not-normie spectrum, not like...autistic

    Context dependent.

    I typically use normie to describe a person or idea that is the closest to being :lmayo: when compared to the other people or ideas present.

    Someone who's not one of us , depending on where you are us can be:

    • incels
    • fanatics
    • dedicated hobbyists
    • neurodiverse
    • etc etc

    The word "normie" does tend to be used when the group is despised by wider society, or despises wider society.

    Keep in mind, I'm just writing from personal experience, I could very easily be wrong.
