        at a minimum you gotta play mgs1 before playing 2 though

          4 is primarily a movie and a giant clusterfuck, but it's an enjoyable one tbqh.

          Plus, you have to play it so you can play the sequel: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which easily has the best politics in the entire series despite how fucking corny it is.
