Weird thing is you can see a picture of his hands (prior to being crucified that year. Though fair warning there are pictures of men engaging in self-flagellation so there are bloody people visible in a couple of the pictures if that wigs you out) on this blogpost and there's not even a scar. I thought there'd be a scar if not a permanent open wound.
Also here's a video of him being crucified. He's even wearing a microphone so the crowd can hear him screaming. I thought this might be staged somehow, but you can see blood on his feet after they remove the nails when they are carrying him to a stretcher.
