I really love that kind of character because they're a mixture of Icarus rejecting wing science before jumping out a window and Pagliacci crying because he doesn't understand why people are laughing at him when he dresses like a clown and does funny things. A cult of personal responsibility, secret knowledge, and success filled with people who couldn't be further from their ideals but who are culturally expected to broadcast them. That's a growing pool of people as society becomes more alienating, and it's all the guys who fetishise a traditional marriage while doing/believing all the things that destroy one. It was only a matter of time until it became an epidemic of familycourtitis.
