Thank you! This comment is so validating. I remember this time last year (or maybe it was more in January when COVID numbers were getting better) so many liberals - both those I know IRL and in the public - were absolutely sure 2021 was gonna be just swell. They thought COVID was nearly over and that the economy would skyrocket. I remember thinking they were looking at things with the most rosy rose-colored glasses. Because no one could look at the information we had and objectively come to the conclusion that 2021 was gonna be a-ok.
Well yeah because it was :biden-nibble: at the helm so everything would be alright. Terminal :liberalism:
Yes, i remember all my stupid lib coworkers were thrilled 2020 was over as if COVID would just drop off the face of the earth when the calendar flipped over. Idealism is a brain disease
‘22 not looking so hot either tbh, the first 25% is basically written off already
not even a single line about vaccine inequity in the article :tito-laugh: instead whining about TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP
Love the uncritical thoughts on the material conditions or systemic problems that led to this year being so similar.
I beg of you, do not click the hyperlink on "moral superiority over the vaccinated," simply do not
The Dark Ages were a period benighted by scientific ignorance.
Understanding why it's called the Dark Ages challenge
Obviously because it was just super cloudy most the time.
