Inb4 you say "stop being racist", I'm specifically referring to white city slickers. They just make me.. uncomfortable for some reason. I was dragged to a mall today and.. ugh. They all reminded me of the 'popular kids'from high school who had the same manner of dress and way of acting.

    A friend of mine in high school came from New York City to rural Canada for the boarding school (I was a local day student in on scholarship). He seemed very sophisticated and erudite, had expensive tastes etc. But then I heard this mf use “epitome” as the opposite of its actual definition.

    They’re all faking it. Everyone is a poser just trying to be accepted, if you just present yourself authentically anyone worth interacting with will resonate with you being real and sincere. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or be ignorant of things, good people will treat you kindly and bad people will out themselves and save you the trouble. Don’t go in trying to impress people and you’ll leave a deeper impression than if you did.
