I have been linked a video by “hbomberguy” which made many of the same points as me, but did so while being a radical leftist and he was celebrated.

It's funny that he cites this because HBomb's video on speedrunning is about how the whole community is basically forced to collaborate by the fact that video proof makes it impossible to have a "trade secret" and that that makes speedrunning super communist and cool.
