Don't try to get smart and call me a flatpak ass crackerjack here in the comments. Already heard it and also I will tell Mr. Duggington about it. Although he says I should call him Doug

Wait, I think I stumbled upon a joke post and simply took it at face-value.

(I've heard too many horror stories about bad therapists and dealt with some myself before finding the right one.)

Dang, even physical therapists are like this, I live super rural, so by default they're going to be bigots and its the only place I get chain purposely misgendered, when PT is so much mental not just physical its frustrating.

      Also on topic anti-cracker-aktion lol

Polly wants a cracker, Polly wants a crackerpresident-parrot-patriotic

This is what your therapist probably sounds like when they ask for cracker screenshots.

Did he say if it was ok to call you cracka with a soft a?

(p.s. I don't understand how fellow Hexbears seem to understand your posts but not Melina's, when your posts are often way more subtle)

DoD is generally more subtle than Melina, but it's not Melina's subtlety that causes issues, it's the low post quality. The Fake News Is Very Obvious Even Without Melina's Distinct Capitalisation. At the other end, the totally serious (not at all serious) fedposting, when there are people here who are actually active enough irl to get visits from the feds, was a horrendously unfunny attempt to create discord and drama that betrayed their own lack of organising. Then there's stuff like the switch post, where they just presented themselves as terribly awkward and unaware, and I have no way to say that wasn't punching down at neurodivergent comrades.

DoD on the other hand presents themselves as an arrogant and ignorant White People who juxtaposes white complaints with real issues to highlight the ridiculousness. There's a consistent character across posts that definitely punches upwards. Their satire has direction and purpose, rather than being whatever random lie they came up with at the time.

I agree that DoD is the better poster, but if you go into a lot of Melina's posts they tend to be full of comments from people who didn't get the bit. Like the Switch post, which could fool some people as being written by an ND comrade who was a little awkward as you say, except for how over the top and ridiculous the situation it presented was. Meanwhile, it looks like people are a lot quicker on the uptake with DoD and are willing to riff off the posts, with only the occasional confused person. Are we just too willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Melina's bad faith bits? Does DayOfDoom just have his hand directly on the pulse of Hexbear? live-tucker-reaction what is going on?

If you go into a lot of Melina's posts full of comments who didn't get the bit, it's usually because they're shitposting in the wrong subs. The Switch post was in the games comm. The fed post was in chat. DoD makes serious posts in the regular coms, and keeps the shitposting to CTH. DoD might be more subtle, but people aren't generally coming across their shitposts without some awareness of the context.
On top of that, particularly with the Switch post, their posts aren't as ridiculous as some people here seem to think. The fed post was obviously something that really happens, but ND people finding out they've spent their money wrong trying to fit in isn't uncommon, and is extremely frustrating for us - I've always masked mine pretty well, but I've seen plenty of ND kids having similar meltdowns over similar social issues. Melina included "jokes" like calling Sonic a Nintendo property, but there are a whole bunch of Sonic games on Switch so it just looks like another misunderstanding from someone who isn't particularly aware about gaming.

It's like the lib post where they just regurgitated actual lib talking points in order, like a lib who had come to the sub and decided to make a post that would completely "debunk" us. They and a few other overly online people might have convinced themselves that this would never happen irl, but a bunch of us have actually experienced their "jokes".

    Get a neurodivergent therapist.

Do you have the resources online to find one?

(Assuming you are neurodivergent yourself, perchance?)
