I used to be really into collecting games, but when it came time to move out I realized I had way too much stuff lol. I also didn't even want to play half the shit that I have, so I got rid of a lot of it. I probably buy a couple games a year now, but if it's a console game I'd much prefer it to be a physical copy

I'm sure that I'm in the minority here, but for JRPGs in particular I think I'll always want a physical copy. Last year I bought 13 Sentinels, SMT Nocturne, and SMT V. I wish physical copies for PS2 era games weren't so ridiculously expensive, cause there are a lot of hidden gems I never played. I can emulate them, but I want the cool box too 😞

    physical is nice but an advantage of non-physical is you might not be paying for it :wink:

    the amount of things ive read or watched or played that would simply be impossible if i stuck to physical copies is unreal

    just try getting a physical copy of the single translation of The Life of St. Andrew the Fool outside a very major metropolitan library

      I stopped buying physical media when the amount of books I had started costing more to move than everything else combined.
