Hollow knight is my favorite game ever, while it is a Metroidvania there really isn't that much backtracking, I only had to look up which way to go a few times the first time I played it, also the wayward compass will be your best friend
its not so hard too bad i dropped it at some point and didnt even get to the 4 main bosses
Cool! I'm also just getting around to it. Do you lose all your points if you die? Or do you just lose down to the amount you had when you last sat on a bench? I'm too afraid to just test and find out hahaha

Does the game get any easier? I ended up running around the very first area for three hours trying to save up enough cash to buy the first item. I'm utterly terrible at metroidvania type games.
difficulty scales but ib terms of cash you will not have problems after you unlocks more or less half of the map
