    I am a massive fan of the old 3. Should I make the effort to watch Fury Road or will it make me upset because its different?

      Fury Road is the full realization of what Mad Max was meant to be 30 years ago. You're really missing out.

        You've convinced me to give it a try. I struggle accepting modern versions of 'camp' whereas old shit like Clockwork Orange and Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderdome work for me. Full disclosure, I haven't actually seen a full length movie since before Fury Road was released.
