    not because Germany is good but they get most of their gas from Russia? An axis of gas if you will.

      Although, you really don't have to work hard to convince folks in the Balkins or the Germans who were born on the front lines of the Cold War that a horrifying military clash spilling over the border would be bad for them.

      There are enough Iraq War refugees bouncing around Europe who serve as an object lesson of American hawkery, if nothing else.

      I've been maintaining this whole time that war probably won't happen because Russia need to sell its gas to Europe, and Europe needs that gas to heat their homes.

        I’ve been hearing the gas thing is over emphasized, something like 12% of Europe’s power comes from gas and only like a third of that is Russian gas

          True but when you are dealing with the kinda collossal quantities in play there, a third of 12% is a huge amount.
