:sicko-yes: America's waning credibility internationally is one of the few good things of the last few years.
Once Trump gets re-elected in 2024 America’s brand is ruined forever. Once is an aberration. Twice is a pattern
Germany-led axis
Uh oh
of restraint
Oh phew...hey wait a minute that's a fucking lie!
We get cancelled for this but not for actually teaming up with the Nazis or for the ethnic cleansing we tried to do? :side-eye-1:
(I assume it derives from the Latin "patria" in both cases)
Look, I try not to kink shame, but getting an SS uniform involved in the bedroom is a little :cringe:
I guess there's enough nazis that survived in the West to know trying to fuck with Russia is a stupid idea.
It's funny how Americans have an emotional reaction to seeing the word "Axis" even on Hexbear.
I legitimately don't have any reaction to it. It's just a political term to me that refers to a group of countries aligning together on a topic. WW2 isn't even the first thing that springs to mind when I see the word, I think of the axis of resistance.
I assume this is caused by media usage. Axis seems to not get used much to refer to the enemy in ww2 here in Britain, preferring to say simply Nazi or Germany and completely ignore the rest.
When a checkmark uses the word "Axis" to refer to Germany, he KNOWS what he's doing.
The US govt literally used that shit post 9/11 to drive home the propaganda. Iraq-Iran-NK. Laughable shit. Fuck the US
The Cold War slowly turned our education on WWII into a Captain America comic where the Americans went in and badassed their way into ending the very concept of evil. The Axis Powers were evil enough to deserve the nuke twice
not because Germany is good but they get most of their gas from Russia? An axis of gas if you will.
Something something Material Conditions something something
Although, you really don't have to work hard to convince folks in the Balkins or the Germans who were born on the front lines of the Cold War that a horrifying military clash spilling over the border would be bad for them.
There are enough Iraq War refugees bouncing around Europe who serve as an object lesson of American hawkery, if nothing else.
I've been maintaining this whole time that war probably won't happen because Russia need to sell its gas to Europe, and Europe needs that gas to heat their homes.
I’ve been hearing the gas thing is over emphasized, something like 12% of Europe’s power comes from gas and only like a third of that is Russian gas

Given that European economy is already fragile due to Covid and falling rate of profit, it is still unacceptable.
True but when you are dealing with the kinda collossal quantities in play there, a third of 12% is a huge amount.
when you try to stop Russia from having warm-water ports but you just end up handing them free rein of the Black Sea :amerikkka-clap:
Croatia being the sane one in the room? I should make sure my CO2 detector is working
axis of restraint
Be careful using that word or Finland is going to get involved
An axis of restraint omg
Prudence is literally fascism
Oh Boys , my little Germany having a Anti-Imperialist Moment ... sniff .... I thought I never see the day...
Hey, it's one of those imperialist wars that do nothing but enrich the ruling class that Lenin told us about! How neat.
Lmao we really have an emoji for everything, don't we
critical support to both sides of marauding imperialists eating each other
