I can't really judge them. I'm playing Conan Exiles and planning out slave raids because I need thralls to increase the efficiency of my smelter complex so I can build a fortress because there are brown people (who worship an evil snake religion) invading to steal my stuff.
Honestly kind of breathtaking how non-specifically racist the conan games are (the conan books are extremely specific about their racism).
Like you go up to people, smack them unconscious with a club, TIE THEM UP AND DRAG THEM TO YOUR BASE. Like not hog tie them and throw them on your horse, you drag them along hte ground by a rope, possibly while riding your horse, then throw them on the "Wheel of Pain" from the Conan movie to break them to your will. Then you stick them on a crafting bench where they give you like a +10% boost to crafting efficiency or something.
Either way, back to the salt mines. Daddy needs several thousand iron reinforcements to bulk up the curtain walls so he can fend off the Stygians.
Seriously, though, there's an entire faction of racist stereotype African demon worshiping cannibals called the "Darfari". If anyone has links to epic takedowns on this game, please link them, because there's almost no aspect of this game that isn't so racist it should be self parody but isn't (The devs are Nordics (pejorative)). Like seriously the most powerful NPCs you can enslave is white psuedo-Germmanic dudes.
Also, like, everyone is naked all the time because reasons. The game is also unreasonably horny. There's a potion of enhancement if you catch my meaning.
It's like if you took the World of Warcraft "fantasy races based on lazy ethnic stereotypes" thing but forgot to make them blue trolls or pandas to obfuscate the racism. On the other hand, I guess it's about what I would expect from fucking Conan, a pulpy property that began in 1932
Oh and Howard was racist racist. Like I apparently either didn't recognize it or it didn't lodge in my memory when I was a kid, but HOLY SHIT going back through those books is a trip. Like bro chill the entire fuck out. Figures, though. He was pen pals with Lovecraft.
Are there more than just Kenshi? I've hit the point in Conan where my options are "Spend an ungodly poopsocking amount of time mindlessly hitting rocks to build my castle or switch to creative mode" and idk, maybe it's time to switch.
Everything where it’s open world base building and you have the opportunity to make slav-jank into slave-jank is a kenshi like.
I didn't play Conan Exiles for very long but the only really good memory I have is launching rocks with the catapults at someone's base and they logged on in the middle of it and proceeded to ask me why I did it. "Because it was funny?"
Not only does it have a dong slider, but you can download mods that will unlock the body sliders that are normally disabled and you can adjust every aspect of the dong in loving detail.
There's a fucking slider for how elastic the boob physics are. Like, yeah, in consideration that makes sense, they must have stored the values somewhere, but I spent like ten minutes playing with the slider, running, playing with the slider, trying to figure out exactly how it worked bc you could get those puppies bouncing around so much it would a.) give your character a concussion and b.) give newton a concussion because the actions were not equal and oppositve. Very confusing.
Isn't this exactly the same slavery loop that Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain has?
You kidnap the enemy soldiers with a balloon and then they passively work on your base for you to build it up. The only thing missing is that it's kind of shallow so it doesn't have them becoming overworked or managing their sanity since it's a minor portion of the game. The basic point is still "collect all the workers that you need with specific skills to work on your base".
