Note in the second street view image, the bottom set of braces between the pillars appears to be missing. I haven’t found a “before” picture of this side to confirm whether or not this is by design, or if they were removed/fell off.
Edit: Well, fuck, it appears that the rusted beam was indeed fixed by them just removing the bracing. Jesus fucking Christ. Failed state.
