“Silkhenges” are silk spires surrounded by an intricate silken fence structure. We know they are made by a species of spider; scientists aren’t sure yet if the spider is a described species or not. This entire structure is only about 8mm (.3") in diameter, from Amazonian Peru.
They have less than 5000 years to go before they create the integrated circuit.
God, I hope not. It's depressing to think they're into SpiderCNN, SpiderMSNBC, and SpiderFoxNews. Plus Spider Damon is getting them to invest in spyto - spider cyrpto
If baby spiders couldn't produce silk, I'd think they're intricate sacrificial pens for the purpose of drawing in some sort of prey lol
basing this on the article I just read about them that said they typically only contain a single egg but damn they're so fucking tiny that I literally just think it is the spider version of a picket fence and a backyard for one lucky child
the spider version of a picket fence and a backyard
I wonder when the spiders will develop the tech to make seesaws.
hopefully their backyard tech will develop sooner rather than later I'm sure spiders could grill perfectly with 8 spatulas.
