Beijing, Feb 7 (Prensa Latina) China will not adjust its zero tolerance policy to Covid-19 as long as it does not have new measures that allow it to prevent further SARS-CoV-2 cases being imported into the country, according to an official source.
According to Western articles I’ve read the common “concern” is that frequently quarantining large areas will disrupt (treat) production for the global economy.
Not sure if that concern is in complete bad faith and they just want them to get a taste of the suffering and instability, or if they genuinely think sending workers in to work sick repeatedly is viable and better despite the labor shortages and supply line issues happening in front of their eyes in countries that opened up.
