This feels like a new stage of collapse for the country. Police targeting a business and literally pulling highway robberies because they know it doesn't have the political connections to protect itself.

It's funny, armored car companies are so used to working with cops they have no idea how to handle it. Why would you train your employees to tell them what they are doing?

:thumb-cop: I am literally committing robbery and spending the money gambling, on drugs, and hiring a hit man to kill my ex wife.

:frothingfash: Just don't spend it all in one place!

Not only that, they are using license plate readers to automatically flag any vehicles owned by the armored car company. Then making up excuses to pull them over.

Surveillance state, mafia state shaking hands meme.

and the Judge is backing the cops :surprised-pika:

Empyreal filed a federal lawsuit against several law enforcement agencies demanding the federal government stop these “highway robberies.” On Monday, the court denied Empyreal’s request for a temporary restraining order.

“The court is compelled to express its concerns regarding Empyreal’s litigation tactics,” District Judge John W. Holcomb wrote.

Sueing over literally getting robbed is 'litigation tactics', but Steven Donziger getting screwed over by a legal team hired by the company he won a trial against is perfectly legitimate
