          In communist east asia (Japan is not asian*, it's part of the International Community), the government will issue you a spouse with which you need to create 2.3 offsprings within 5 years or your social credit score will be erased. relationships are treated like industrial production quotas. in the democratic west, we have the freedom to fall in love and marry whoever we want. relationships are romantic. this is the basic fundamental difference between the west and the east.
