Mocking antivaxxers is not punching down when their decisions and actions are literally murdering people.

Antivaxxers are participating in a systemic genocide of marginalized people, the working class, and the immuno-compromised.

In a perfect world, these ideas wouldn't have spread to begin with. In a still better world than we have right now, we'd have mass re-education programs.

Instead we have a global pandemic made worse by a murder cult.

since covid started i've noticed myself developing anger issues

if i worked a grocery job where customers regularly flaunted safety rules to own the libs i'm sure i'd do something nuts and get myself fired within a month

I currently work in a shop and I have to tell you; I'm getting stress grey hairs from this shit. So. Many. People. do not give a fuck or just don't understand the severity of covid.

I had someone with covid come in yesterday, touching all over the counter and shit, telling me not to "freak out" because she has "done her 7 days" I couldn't even be bothered telling her it's infectious for up to 24 days, I'm just too exhausted by this whole thing to care anymore. At one point I was offering free masks (I had extras) to maskless customers, they won't take them. The sheer selfishness and ignorance of these people is making me lose faith in humanity, I swear.

I get the feeling that's the point, to overwhelm us into just accepting this is the new normal. The media and our politicians just confuse people by lowering restrictions (If the news says people can go back to work after 7 days now then it must mean I'm not infectious after 7 days, right?) and downplaying the danger. What a fucking mess.
