If they eliminate property taxes with no income tax for the state, does the Texan state government just cease to exist? Sounds like nobody's around to enforce property laws.
Texas also has a 6.25% sales tax and a corporate income tax, but who knows how well those would fund the state government without the property tax. It would probably just hand more control over to oil and gas lobbyists.

The prices for everything will go up. Theyll ramp up collecting on fines and ticket more aggressively. It'll become a police state.
