Socialism in agrarian areas was relatively popular in the United States at one point.

Eugene Debs spoke as much among farmers as he did industrial workers.

Almost everyone here is culturally conservative. Like they hit most of the cultural signifiers and hate Democrats. But shit a lot of them already understand class warfare having never read a lick of theory.

Reminds me of that quote that goes along the lines of "I may have never read Karl Marx's Capital but I bear the marks of capital all over my body" I can't remember who said it but it's a cool quote.

Democrats actually promoted NAFTA deep into the farmlands when they passed it.

They had commercials running in the Midwest as the factories were closing down.

I know I've mentioned it on here before, but I think like 40% of average liberals would put me in a camp for living in an area with <1k people that went 70% for trump.

You'd probably not get thrown into an extermination camp, but you will get put into the liberal version of a reeducation camp. I am not sure what the curriculum will be, but somehow it's gonna include both the West Wing, the Black Book of Communism, and White Fragility.

People have just completely forgotten the definition of "bot".

How the fuck is a "brainwashed hillbilly" a bot? A bot is code, not a person.

Yeah pretty much, and I have no idea how or why it came to that. It is in no way connected to the actual definition of the word.
